Tricolour Hospital was established in Tirumalagiri, Secunderabad, as a 50-bedded multispecialty hospital. However, as the requirement increased due to high patient inflow, the management created a more extensive set-up and shifted to the new location for a 100-bedded hospital in Amberpet, Hyderabad.
Tricolour hospital was founded by the Tricolour group associated with the renowned physician of Hyderabad, Dr Somnath. Tricolour Group is a legendary name in real estate, properties, open-plot sales, schools, flats consultancy and IT animations. To venture into healthcare as the new domain, they started with Tricolour Hospital.
The Matrishakti and Narishakti floated the concept behind this hospital to get motherly care and affection. This concept was given by Mrs Aarti Thakur Jha and Mrs Archana Som.
